EDUARDO VALDES ACRA

He currently serves as member of the Administration Board of several companies such as Corporacion Actinver, Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, Grupo Financiero Inbursa and subsidiaries, Telefonos de Mexico and Grupo Carso. He is Partner at Certus Capital S.C. company focused on financial services.

 

Eduardo started his career at Noveltex, later joining Grupo Financiero Inbursa, where he held different roles until he was named Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Financiero Inbursa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Inbursa and CEO of Casa de Bolsa Inversora Bursatil.

 

Eduardo holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana.

INDEPENDENT ADVISORS

 

The Advisory Board of Grupo Enesa is integrated by professionals and experts in the different sectors where the fund invests, contributing with their knowledge and wide experience in the different strategic areas of the group. Each one of the advisors has years of experience in various industries worldwide. The diversity, independence and knowledge of each advisor complements the representative leadership of Grupo Enesa.

FELIPE MELLADO FLORES

He held the position of Petróleos Mexicanos Commissioner from 2010 to 2014. Previously he was appointed Chairman of the Independent Audit Committee of Petróleos Mexicanos, a position he held until 2009. From 2007 to 2008 he was the Deputy General Manager of the Mexican Sugar Group.

 

He began his career at Grupo Industrial Saltillo (GIS). He held the position of Planning Director, Marketing Director, Finance Director and finally General Director of Confad, a co-investment of GIS and General Electric.

 

Mr. Mellado is Chemical Engineer Administrator from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, he also holds a degree in the Advanced Management Program of the Harvard Business School.

GUSTAVO LARA CANTÚ

Independent Director of American Tower Corporation since 2004. He was appointed to the Compensation Committee in May 2009. From February 2005 to May 2009, Mr. Lara served on the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Gustavo currently participates as an advisor for Reiter Affiliate Companies and FICSAC (Fomento de Investigación y Cultura Superior de la Universidad Iberoamericana) since 2005.

 

He served as CEO for North Latin America at Monsanto where he spent 24 years and gained experience in strategic planning and business development in Mexico and Latin America.

RAFAEL MACGREGOR

Mr. Rafael MacGregor serves as Corporate Director of Técnica Administrativa Bal. SA de CV. He also serves as Chairman of the Administration Board of: Valores Mexicanos Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V., Crédito Afianzador, S.A. Compañía Mexicana de Garantías, and Valmex Soluciones Financieras. He is Member of the Asociación Mexicana de Cultura AC and member of the Administration Board of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

 

He is former Director of Grupo Nacional Provincial, Industrias Peñoles, Grupo Palacio de Hierro, Grupo Profuturo, Profuturo GNP (Afore), Profuturo GNP Pensiones, Médica Integral GNP Bal Holdings Inc., Fresnillo plc., Minera Tizapa, Minera Penmont, Tecnolog a y Servicios de Agua (TECSA), Industrias del Agua de la Ciudad de México (IACMEX), Desarrollos Hidraúlicos de Cancún (DHC), Bal- Ondeo, and Tane.

ROBERTO TAPIA-CONYER

He is currently the CEO of Carlos Slim Foundation, President of the National Board of Youth Integration Centers and member of other Board of Trustees such as National Institute of Medic Science and Nutrition, among others. He is a member of the Permanent Advisory Council of the Mexican Society of Public Health; Member of the National Academies of Medicine and Surgery, as well as the Mexican Academy of Sciences.

 

He is a postgraduate professor at the Medicine Faculty from the UNAM; a Level III Researcher of the National System of Researchers, member of the Advisory Committee of the Initiative of the University of California, Mexico (UC- México), member of the ISSSTE Scientific and Medical Advisory Council, as well as the International Task Force for Disease Eradication of The Carter Center.

 

Doctor specialized in Public Health, Master in Public Health and Sciences from Harvard University and Doctor of Health Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

RODRIGO RUBIO

Rodrigo is a Partner and Office Head of Bain & Company’s Mexico City office. He has more than 20 years of industry and management consulting experience. His work at Bain has focused mostly on service industries, such as telecommunications and financial services, where he advises clients on topics of strategy and organization. More specifically in moments of great transformation.

 

Additionally, he has significant experience working with private equity clients, working with them along the investment process, from creating strategies and opportunities mapping, up to due diligences and crafting value added plans for their assets in many industries such as consumer goods, retail and healthcare. He has led numerous cases and, while focused primarily in Mexico and Latin America, has served clients in Europe and Asia as well. Prior to joining Bain in 2008, Rodrigo spent three years as EVP of SME Market at Telmex.

 

He holds a BA in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from UNAM for which he received the Gabino Barreda Medal, and a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
